- Since 2019/09 Collaboration with Dr. Sameh Sorour at the School of Computing, Queen’s University (Kingston, ON) in the area of 5G and connected/autonomous vehicles (CAV). The collaboration involves acquiring research funds, leading joint funded research projects, publishing joint research work and supervision of graduate students.
- Since 2018/01 Collaboration with Dr. Nizar Zorba at Qatar University (Doha, Qatar) in the area of road information services and crowd management. The collaboration involves publishing joint research work, delivering invited talks and short courses to graduate students and supervision of graduate students.
- Since 2016/09 Collaboration with Dr. Sidney Givigi at the School of Computing, Queen’s University (Kingston, ON) in the area of computer vision, multi-sensor fusion and autonomous systems (UGV and UAV). The collaboration involves acquiring research funds, leading joint funded research projects, publishing joint research work and supervision of graduate students.
- Since 2015/05 Collaboration with Dr. Mohamed Tamazin at the Arab Academy of Science and Technology (Cairo, Egypt) in the area of GNSS jamming mitigation. The collaboration involves publishing joint research work and supervision of students. We also plan to arrange for workshops and short practical courses for graduate students in the future.
- Since 2015/05 Collaboration with Dr. Ahmed Elmowafy at Curtin University (Perth, Australia) in the area of GNSS, integrated navigation and mobile mapping.
- Since 2013/09 Collaboration with Dr. Yanbin Gao and Dr. Lianwu Guan at Harbin Engineering University (Harbin, China) in the area of portable navigation including personal activity recognition and in the field of localization of pipeline inspection gauges.
- Since 2011/10 Collaboration with Dr. Hossam Hassanein at the School of Computing, Queen’s University (Kingston, ON) in the area of sensor networks, connected vehicles and 5G for road information services and connected and autonomous vehicles. - 2008/09 - 2017/12 Collaborating with Dr. Ahmed Osman-Ahmed at the American University in Sharjah in developing advanced spectral estimation methods for power system protection problems
- 2007/09 - 2017/09 Collaboration with Dr. Amr El-Nady at the University of Sharjah in Developing Advanced Signal Processing and Digital Filtering Techniques for Power System Quality Problems.
- Since 2006/09 Collaboration with Dr. Mike Korenberg at the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Queen’s University (Kingston, ON) in the area of nonlinear system modeling and spectral analysis for inertial sensor smartening and multi-sensor system integration several applications including positioning and navigation of land vehicles, portable navigation, personal activity recognition, GNSS antijamming and acoustic underwater target tracking. The collaboration involves publishing joint research work and supervision of graduate students.
